CIP Overview

The Corporate Internship Program (CIP) is unlike any other program in Austin and plays an integral role at SJDCHS. The corporate sponsors contract with CIP to lease a team of students to fill a full-time, entry-level position at their site. A job-sharing team is composed of four students, each working five days per month. All SJDCHS students participate in CIP throughout their four years and are exposed to a variety of industries including: 

• Technology 
• Healthcare 
• Small Business 
• Law 
• Finance 
• Educational Institutions 
• Non-Profit Organizations 

The experience our students receive from CIP will set them apart from their peers, helping them build character and a solid foundation in the business professional world. Each student gets to explore possible career paths, receives professional mentoring, and gains access to a network of professionals for future internships and job opportunities!
